Privacy & safety
Can my partner see what I said no to?
No. A suggestion only ever becomes a match when you both say yes. The things you decline are never shown to your partner — there is no screen, list, or hint of them anywhere in the app.
Will my partner know I'm unsure about something?
No. There are no “pending” or “waiting on you” indicators. If only one of you says yes, nothing happens and nothing is revealed. Hesitation is completely invisible.
Who else can see any of this?
Only the two of you, ever. intimiq has no public feed, no profiles to browse, and no way to share your activity outside your pair.
Does intimiq track visitors?
Our in-app analytics stores daily aggregate counts for public page views, traffic sources, account-creation clicks, and free-list starts and completions. It does not store analytics cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers, sexual preferences, or answers from the free Yes/No/Maybe list.

What is a “spark”?
A spark is a single suggestion — an idea, mood, or activity — shown as a card you react to. A small handful arrive each day.
Why do the ideas start so gentle?
We begin with easy, everyday intimacy and only step things up as you show what you enjoy. You'll never be shown something far beyond your comfort zone.
What exactly is a match?
When you and your partner both say yes to the same thing, it quietly becomes a match and lands in your shared bucket list — a little proof that you're on the same page.
My partner has more matches than me — is that a bug?
No. Matches reveal to each of you at your own pace. When you open the app you'll catch up to your partner's position, so you're always looking at the same shared list — just occasionally a step behind.
Can my partner see that I checked in to Tonight?
Not by itself. Your Tonight choice stays private unless you both have active check-ins. Only then do you both see the shared lower range and, when available, an active match you already agreed on. A Tonight match is still an invitation to talk, never automatic consent.
Pace & pressure
Do we have to use it every day?
Not at all. There are no streaks and no penalties for taking a break. Come back whenever suits you both — everything will be waiting.
Why don't I get more sparks in one sitting?
By design. intimiq is a slow, savour-it experience rather than an endless feed. A few sparks a day keeps discovery feeling special for the long run.
Could it push us into something we're not into?
No. Nothing becomes a plan unless you both choose it, and suggestions never jump beyond a gentle step past your demonstrated comfort.
Getting started
How do we set it up?
One of you creates an account and invites the other with a private code. Once you're linked as a couple, your daily sparks begin.
Why does it ask a question about anatomy?
Only so suggestions physically fit you both. It's asked simply and respectfully, works for couples of any gender, and is used solely to avoid showing ideas that wouldn't apply to you.
